👁️ Overhead Computer Vision: From Static Math to Real-Time Flock Distribution
Calculating stocking density on paper assumes birds distribute evenly across the floor. In reality, drafty inlet baffles, wet litter spots, or localized feeder failures create uneven clustering where effective density exceeds 45 kg/m² in some zones while other areas remain empty:
- Ceiling AI Cameras (YOLOv8 Cluster Detection): Scans floor space continuously and generates spatial heatmaps of flock dispersion every 5 minutes.
- Microclimate Zone Balancing: When optical cameras detect bird crowding away from sidewalls, the ventilation controller automatically modulates inlet damper angles to eliminate chilly floor drafts.
